Window Shopping

Looking to buy or just looking? Use general search, advanced search or just browse the category you are interested in to hunt for deals. You can even sort your results. Membership or Login is not required to browse the ads. If you choose to contact the seller or buy an item or vehicle, then login or registration is required.

Placing an Ad

Selling something? Login or registration is required to post an ad, so start there first.

All ads. Once you are logged in, just select the category of the item or vehicle you wish to advertise and follow the easy steps. Read our Tips & Tricks page for some good suggestions. General ads for motorcycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, parts, accessories, or related items (like dvd’s, trailers, tools, etc.) are free and can be kept active until item is sold. All ads run for 30 days and automatically expire, unless they are actively renewed. You will receive an email notice before ad expiration to remind you to renew, if needed. All ads can be edited or deleted from your MyStuff page. Go ahead and place your free ad now.

Featured ads. For only $9 you have the option to make your ad a Featured Ad. Featured ads rank top in the search results and randomly rotate in the Featured photos on the Home page and Buy page for each category.

Payment Options

For your convenience, Cyclehound.com offers deposit or full payment options through Paypal and escrow.com Buyers and sellers may also chose to make initial contact facilitated by us in which neither of your personal info is revealed.

Purchasing an item. Buyers can choose to purchase an item from a Cyclehound.com ad after contacting Sellers by using the menu placed on the ad itself. Once we have helped both establish that contact, they can negotiate an agreement that best suits their needs.

Payments on items advertised on Cyclehound.com can be made either using Paypal and/or escrow.com or by contacting the seller directly using our convenient link placed at the right of each ad. Be cautious of unusual payment requests. Read the Tips page for information on avoiding scams.

PayPal and Escrow.com offer payment protection against fraud and fake cashier checks and money orders, which are common and take weeks for your bank to discover. Also, if you buy with a credit card, it offers additional payment protection from the issuing bank.
